I love that you first and foremost highlight joint attention--it is the foundation for all communication and learning! Without it, we have no joint reference for ideas, leading to misunderstanding and communication breakdowns. We can't be expected to share without it.
I love how this includes what sharing might look like across the age levels. I think one misconception is that children as young as 1 should be sharing. As you note, that is not to be expected so we need to stop requesting our babies share their toys!

I agree about joint attention. That is what we should be focusing on in our youngest children as the foundation for so many skills!
