I’m a speech-language pathologist who works in early intervention, and I am so appreciative of the work you and your colleagues put into these reviews. You help me answer questions I field from parents in a more informed way.

Thank you for this newsletter! I feel like I have seen autism become the new "boogeyman" in certain parenting circles and from people on social media - some of them downright scammers and fearmongers trying to convince people that a certain food, supplement, etc. will make their child autistic. The worst part about all this - as you covered in the last section - is the narrative that there is something wrong or undesirable about being autistic. I think we absolutely need to listen to and follow the lead of autistic individuals in celebrating neurodiversity and working toward a world that is more navigable for neurodiverse people.
I completely agree! There are so many people and companies selling non-researched "cures" for autism that are extremely dangerous for children and that advance the non-acceptance of neurodiversity. Please share the newsletter with your friends and family to share the message of inclusion!

Thank you so much! Feel free to share some of those questions as we are always thinking about what we can write about
Thank you for this; the timing could not be more perfect as my daughter was just diagnosed yesterday and we have so many questions.

I absolutely agree with you, this is something we really need to strive for.
